Alpinestars Frontier Gore-Tex Jacket

Not your run of the mill, the Frontier Gore-Tex jacket feels like it will take some serious abuse. Probably a good job if you have a reputation like Chris.

The jacket is a good all rounder when it comes to climate control. Not only is it warm enough for the rigours of Alaska, but when the heat is on, large panels on the front and rear can be unzipped allowing hurricanes of ventilation.

Form has been given the same attention to detail as function and there are some nice touches. The waterproof Gore-Tex layer is actually a pretty tasty ‘going out’ jacket in its own right, making MainlyDueSouth look the cat’s pyjamas and saving them from carrying another article of clothing.
